A brand identity and exhibition design for the 2025 University of Houston Graphic Design Senior Show displaying student work over the course of the two-year program. Branding team developed an identity system and brand guidelines, designed promotional content, wall graphics and wayfinding to showcase the brand within the exhibition space.

The prefix "Ultra" means to go to the extreme, or beyond what is ordinary. The title was selected to represent a class where each designer goes above and beyond while staying true to their voice.

The selected colors reflect the spirit of the class — bold, vibrant, diverse and innovative. All possible duotone combination are used in different parts of the system and allow each designer to choose a duotone to be used for their webpage ultra.uhgd.org.

exhibition Wayfinding

To help visitors navigate the exhibition, the space is laid out with signage framing and defining each project being showcased. The signage utilizes elements of the system as if extracted from a poster, while maintaining the brand's fluidity and asymmetry.
